Monday 29th February was our annual AGM. One item on the Agenda every year is the ‘Higham Award’ which is a silver salver (donated in 1990 by 1st Tenor Geoff Higham) and is awarded annually to a member of the choir chosen by the Committee in recognition of what they’ve done for the choir since their membership. This years recipient was Stuart Sykes. Stuart used to be responsible for the choirs ticket sales until about a year ago as well as being a member of the Committee. He also liaised with the Parr Hall as to the choirs requirements for concerts. His attention to detail is second to none! Here he is receiving the award from our Chairman Mr Bob Williams. Congratulations Stuart and thank you for all you do for the choir.
